ASL VALKYRIE B

Aeronautical Syndicate Ltd. was british company from the very early years of XX century, with a Horatio Barber as main designer. In 1910 was designed plane called Valkyrie - first with inline engine Gredn C.4 (Valkyrie A) followed by Valkyrie B with rotary Gnome Omega 50 hp. On 4 July 1911 a Valkyrie flown by Barber carried a box of OSRAM light-bulbs from Shoreham to Hove. It was the first commercial air cargo flight in Britain.
